Planning an Event

Welcome to the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Once you have signed and returned your License Agreement and initial rental deposit, your account will be turned over to our Event Services Department. At that time you will be assigned a personal Event Manager who will work with you in the logistical planning of your event activity. Although you may continue to have dialogue with your Sales Manager (modifying space needs, etc…), the Event Manager will be your primary point of contact with the facility, and will serve as your liaison for all facility related services.

The following links are very important, as they contain documents that will aid you throughout your event planning process. Please take a few minutes to review these documents, and download as needed. Of particular importance are the “Meeting Planner’s Checklist” and the “Event Handbook.”







In-House Services



Your Event Manager will become your "new best friend" throughout the planning process, and will be able to assist you with any questions you may have regarding the above documents or any other aspect of our facility. This will be your question and answer contact until it's time to load out and plan for next year.
